Insulating Oil PCB Analysis Service

We will determine the presence or absence of PCBs and assess the health and economic risks.

We conduct PCB analysis of insulating oil. There is an obligation to dispose of waste electrical equipment that has been confirmed to have trace PCB contamination by March 31, 2027. Have you assessed the presence of trace PCB contamination in the electrical equipment you own or use? We perform analysis using the "Simple Measurement Method Manual for Trace PCBs in Insulating Oil." Please feel free to contact us if you have any requests. [Analysis Case 16] Request for "Insulating Oil PCB Analysis" from Agricultural Cooperative.

We would like to introduce the "Insulating Oil PCB Analysis" for electrical equipment requested by the agricultural cooperative in Yamagata Prefecture.

At Next Environmental Consultant Co., Ltd., we provide services for industrial waste analysis, soil analysis, inspections, tests, and measurements nationwide in Japan. We would like to introduce a case analyzed on July 30, 2021. This was a project for "Insulating Oil PCB Analysis" commissioned by an agricultural cooperative in Yamagata Prefecture. The request was for the analysis of insulating oil from transformers and similar equipment. We visited the local site to collect samples. There is a possibility that insulating oil from older models of capacitors and transformers contains PCBs. The disposal of PCB-containing waste is subject to deadlines, and proper disposal within the specified time frame is required. There are cases where such materials have been forgotten, left unused in the back of a warehouse for a long time. It might be a good idea to check again whether any relevant equipment is under your management. [Case Details] ■ Date: 2021/7/30 ■ Industry: Agriculture ■ Sampling Location: Yamagata Prefecture ■ Type of Analysis Sample: Insulating Oil ■ Analysis Item: Insulating Oil PCB (Content Test) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

"Same-day response available! Low concentration PCB" PCB analysis of insulating oil in electrical equipment.

Have you confirmed whether the transformers, capacitors, OF cables, etc., that have been left dormant in the factory and buildings are contaminated with PCBs?

The special measures law for PCBs states that the deadline for the disposal of low-concentration PCB waste is March 31, 2027. By that time, you must confirm whether the insulating oil in the transformers and capacitors you own contains PCBs, and if it does, you must dispose of it properly. At the Tatsuta Environmental Analysis Center, we conduct rapid testing of insulating oil from electrical equipment, and if PCBs are detected, we use a simple quantification method to measure the concentration, allowing for quicker determination of the presence of PCBs and the concentration level (low or high concentration) when detected. Same-day service is also available, so please feel free to contact us.
